Very often, we hear that we need to live in the now, but most people don’t understand how significant this is. Some people use being in the moment to temporarily let go of something, or maybe to get happy for a second. Most people ignore this all together. Some people repost Facebook memes about it, but they don’t know what they are talking about. What most people don’t understand is they are living like a slave to random thoughts, emotions and fears in their heads. For myself, I have come to the conclusion that it is the ONLY thing that matters, and everything else falls into place magically. Understanding that you are the moment and letting go of the past and the future gives you unlimited powers. Most people don’t realize that they are indirectly craving living in the moment. The dream vacation, drinking, watching a good movie, amazing sex all get you into the moment. These things feel so good because you are not focused on crap from your past, or what you have to do in the future. When you experience these things, you are in the moment. So when you think you want certain things, the truth is you just want to feel what those things will give you. You think that they will give you happiness, and that they will make you present.

What would happen if you could feel that presence all of the time? No matter what your circumstances? What if it is possible to live in a world where you are not defined by anything in your past? Imagine a world where you never said a sentence like “Well I am a procrastinator.” (No you used to be one.) or “I could never speak to a live crowd.” (No you used to be scared to do it, because you were in the past and bringing it into your future.) What if you didn’t hold onto stories of what people in the past said about you? Or what you said about yourself? What if you completely didn’t care what people thought about you, and that gave you the power to expand, move forward and ironically, help other people? When you understand the moment for real, you will discover that those things just dissolve naturally. It isn’t denial. You aren’t running from those things in the past, but rather, you are identifying that they are not real. You are only this moment. For real. Your past is fictional, you just chose to bring it with you.

I have spent years learning to letting go, allow, discover, expanding, being. I have taken time off for myself and meditated, I discovered the art of playing all day, and bringing that practice into everything. I meditate daily between 1 to 5 hours a day. Some people ask me how I have time to do this? I have discovered I have more time because I do it. This time is extremely well lived.

I have discovered for myself that you can work really hard to getting good at certain things, and you will get good at getting the thing that you worked for. OR, you could understand with practice that you ARE only this moment, and watch your past and future dissolve. You don’t have to work hard for things, because suddenly the sky is the limit as far as what you can achieve. For instance, if you are a person who lives in the past, you have a story about who you are. That story will get in the way of your abilities. You will not feel worthy of bigger things, and work from a more limited space. For instance, you might have a brilliant idea for an invention, or to have your own TV show, or create your own product. But if you are your past, you will immediately think to yourself “I don’t do stuff like that.” You immediately brought your past story into your now idea. You have officially kept yourself in your past.

We shoot down 98 percent of ideas within the first 8 seconds. Believing that “you are your past” is the reason. If we had no limits, or stories, we would have nothing to weigh the idea against and we would just do it. This is why I believe learning the moment is the most important thing you can do. Everything else just falls right into place. This is what I will be speaking about at my event this summer in July.

I have discovered as a performer that if I spend my time being the moment, then when I go on stage, I just happen to be way better. My performances went through the roof. I didn’t work on anything, I accepted that I was this moment continually until it became my habit. A lot of benefits showed up. Here are a major list of benefits that show up when you learn how to be in this now.

1. Your addictions crumble. When we are present with the moment, we are not in the past and future all of the time. When you are in the past, you are having a thought you don’t like, and you are fighting it. This happens so commonly that most people don’t even realize it. But as it happens, you want something that will distract you from your constant stressful thinking, and get you in the moment. Alcohol, TV, Coffee, bad food, sex, drugs, etc all temporarily put you in the moment. If you are already in the moment, you don’t crave these things.

2. Stress goes away. When you are living in the moment, you are not anticipating or regretting anything from the future or the past. Because of this, you are not stressing anymore. You are here and you are in love with here. You feel good. In this place, circumstances don’t run you anymore. You are not worried about things. You are here, happy.

3. Your health goes way up. If your stress is down and you aren’t addicted to things, that means you are eating only what you want as fuel and you are happy. This combo is what you need to be major healthy. I have not been sick in four years.

4. You need less sleep. I work with a lot of students. One thing I have discovered is that when we are living in the past and the future, we are exhausted. IT is exhausting to relive bad things that happened to you. It is equally exhausting to anticipate what you have to do tomorrow. Most people are missing out on their days off, because they are thinking about how much they will have to work the next day. So they aren’t even off on their day off! Enjoying this moment causes your body to fight less. Less fighting and less work equals less need for recovery.

5. You are always in the zone. If you are in the moment, you are way better at doing stuff. You nail things in the first try. You are suddenly killer at job interviews, creating a blog, going on a date. You are not in your head, you are present. Presence is very attractive to potential buyers, dates, bosses, clients, etc.

6. You make way more money. How could you not? If you are better in the zone, customers want to buy from you. If you are confident, you will get the job. In the moment, the sky is the limit as to what you can be, achieve, create, etc. You will also have faster, better ideas for ways to expand yourself, that would be much more profitable and create fast, passive income. Seriously, you can become incredible at what you love, and that will make you insanely profitable.

7. You see yourself worthy of more. If you aren’t holding on to a past story, you don’t sabotage big opportunities. Why would you? Sure! You are only this moment, so nothing is a big deal! Someone offers you a million dollar job, you get a date with Jessica Alba, You have a brilliant idea, etc. All of these things are not a big deal. The big deal to you is the moment. If you are in the moment, you have no reason to shoot down anything. You will go with it. You will expand.

Until you experience what LIVING in the moment is truly about, a lot of what I am saying might not make sense. You have millions of thoughts coming through every day, that don’t serve you. We are trying to live our lives with thousands of voices telling us what to do. Here is a short video of me speaking about how to be the moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfw1FSfJBxM

I will be doing a three day event on being the moment, getting into flow, letting go of old habits, July 19th through 21st in LA. Tickets are massively cheap for the next few days. go to www.kylecease.com and secure yourself a seat. Learning the moment is the best thing a person could do for themselves. www.kylecease.com for tickets and info.

When you think you already know how it works, you close yourself off to new possibilities. You do only the things that you knew, so you continually do the same things. You also come up with excuses to not do new things. Already knowing is actually fear of the unknown.

When we say “I don’t know, but I am wide open to knew ideas” We open the door to new possibilities and paradigms. This creates a constant opportunity of expansion. We are here to expand. No room for breakthroughs, no room for possibilities. No room for new ways of being better, making more money, helping others, doing more efficient work…

With “I am open to new ideas.” We open the door to knew ways of thinking and seeing. In these new ways, new ideas form, new ways of creating, new ways of helping others, etc.

This is the only way to experience true euphoria. EXPANDING. Doing things you have never done, being things you have never been. It is multi-dimensional. Don’t know. It makes room for new possibilities you have never seen.

Once you realize you don’t know, ask yourself incredible questions. “What am I capable of that I have never experienced before?” “How much love will I allow myself to experience?” “How can I really expand?” Then sit with that question and watch as NEW thoughts come in and answer the question.

Here is a killer example that I experienced. Last year I had an event in Vegas. I wanted to let people know about it, because it was going to be a crazy experience. I was going to write people one at a time to sell tickets to the event. I would have had to write a few thousand emails to fill this event.

I then sat with my eyes closed and envisioned how I would really create something amazing. I asked myself as if it was past tense how I “filled the event.” In about 5 minutes I then came up with the idea to make this video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84Mj4dBqoqY. It took me 7 minutes to shoot, my buddy edited it in a few hours. We posted it. It had 10,000 views in the first day. We then mentioned the event at the end of the video, and sold 100 tickets immediately.

If I had already “known” how to do it, I would have stayed at the lower level idea of writing each person. This is why asking better questions gives you faster, quicker, more effective ways to make a massive amount of impact, more money, more free time.

It is not a coincidence that 98 percent of the public work their asses off and make less money, and two percent work less, but more efficiently, are often more fulfilled and make most of the money. It’s only a matter of asking better questions to yourself and waiting for that answer.

Come to my event while tickets are cheap, cause I am going to do some really cool shit to make it the most incredible experience we have ever had, so we can move in a more efficient, fulfilling, profitable, contributing way.

I had an idea and just started doing it. I didn’t talk about it much, figure it out, or justify why I should not do it. I just decided on it, and announced it.

Now massive amounts of people are joining me at this event, which was just an idea. It was literally something that was in my head. This invisible idea is now a reality. This is so important to get. People shoot down incredible ideas all day.

There was actually a study that most humans shoot down 98 percent of their ideas all day. So everyday, you literally have ideas that are worth millions, or would be massively fulfilling, or would help you to expand, or would affect those around you in an incredible way.

Here is the funny thing, when you have that idea, you then get scared of changing. You realize “Wow, this idea is so good that if I did this, I would be more successful, more powerful, more aligned, a bigger influence.” But you are also aware that you would be changing. You would be different.

You then go to your fear thoughts. You are scared that you will lose your old identity of being lazy and broke, even though that is not your true identity. You are scared that your friends will see you as someone who changed, even though you could have been a bigger, more amazing influence on your friends. You are scared of something that you have never seen before, even though that is the only true way to expand.

So you pass on the incredible ideas. You pass on becoming better and making the world better. You pass on your own expansion because of a 20 second false fear. You pass on becoming better because you were going to enter into the world of the unknown.

Now you have to pass on this idea and justify it. This is how you are using your logic. Your logic is supposed to be used to tell you different ways to get to your dream. Instead you have learned to use it to justify passing on your dream, so you come up with this kind of stuff.

“No one has done anything like this.” instead of “I have something original.”
“It’s too far away.”
instead of “I can get a plane ticket.”

or

“I can’t because of my day job.” instead of “I wonder if I could do more and make way more money doing what I love instead?”

or

“I have to stay in this situation, even though I hate it.” instead of “I can’t afford to be in this situation BECAUSE I hate it!”

or

“I’m not someone who can make money.” instead of “I have consistently done everything I can to avoid expanding and today I am ready to do things I have never done.”

or

“I’m too broke.” instead of “Maybe I should learn how to make money.”

or

“I’m a procrastinator.” instead of “I used to procrastinate but today I want to get in the habit of taking new actions.”

or

“I’m too fat.” instead of “I am ready to become fit, and learn what it is like to truly expand.”

or

“I don’t do things like this.” instead of “I have never done anything like this! exciting!”

or

“I will lose my time if I do this.” instead of “I have spent a lot of my time doing things I don’t like, which causes me to also do addictive things like check facebook 100 times a day, because I am not feeling fulfilled. I will gain time if I do this!!!!!!”

If you learned to listen to the inspired first idea then you would never look for the logic of why you would justify passing on it. You would look for the logic of how you are going to make this new uncertain exciting idea happen, and what you would become from expanding and growing.

This is why I am able to not stay stuck in one area. This is why I can be a comedian, but also speak on this. I could have easily said “I am only a comedian, this is what I do.” But instead, I opened the doors to new possibilities and am now a transformational comedian. My logic thoughts could have easily gotten in the way and said “You know for sure how to make it as a Comedy Central comedian, so don’t change it, you will lose work.” But the truth I learned is this.

There is a way bigger demand for this. IT is completely effortless. IT is in alignment with what is completely true to me. There are millions of companies who need a good comedian who can also help them get way more sales. There are thousands of colleges who need a lecture speaker who can make them laugh. You can speak at conscious seminars, write books, do TED type talks, be the only funny guy in the line up at any huge event.

Without knowing how, from listening to the first voice, I am now working exponentially more, doing something more original, and with no competition, on my own schedule. I am having a blast living in my truth. My audiences are high minded thinkers who have constant way better paying work for me. I am doing something that takes no effort at all. I work when I want, where I want. I am truly fulfilled. I have learned that I am more than just a comedian.

This is how important it is to learn your truth. You have this truth deep in you. You have the opportunity to learn from it, to have it guide you. If you think who you are is that guy that works at this job you hate, or that you are the person who was cheated on 7 years ago, you are wrong. But, until you leap and do things you have not done, you will stay believing you are those limited things. This is truly what hell is. Staying stagnant when there are expansive opportunities being served to you all day.

Next week I am going to really announce my event big time to everyone. Before I do, grab the tickets while they are still crazy cheap and the Sheraton Hotel is only 100 dollars a night for the first 100 people.

I am having a 3 day event on getting into this truth, living and true fulfilled life and making way more money in the process. It is cheap as hell. Do something different. You might think that you can’t afford it. (Even though it’s as low as 97 bucks and you can buy 3 and get a 4th free) But the minds of success understand that you can’t afford not to. Learn how to change your mind and become someone who expands. Just don’t buy beer for a few weeks and invest your time and money in yourself instead.

www.kylecease.com for tickets.

I believe this is the one difference between the happy, successful, fulfilled people and the rest of society.

Take a second and think about where you want to be. Really spell it out for yourself. What do you want in your life, career, relationship, health? If you don’t have a vision, that’s your first problem. It’s easy for corporations to sell things to aimless people like this. If you don’t take control of your own life, others will take control for you. So the first thing is actually write out what you want. Sometimes I spend 1 to 2 hours a day writing out or envisioning what I want. You might think that takes too much time, but it actually saves me a ton of time. If I don’t have that clarity, how I am going to know where I am going? How often do you get into the car without knowing where you are driving to?

Once you finally see where you want to be, look at how many things you are doing that are not in alignment with that vision. For instance, if you want to be healthy, but you are eating pizza, that is not in alignment with what you want to be. You will be fighting yourself all day because you are wanting one thing, but doing another. That will cause extra stress which will cause more weight gain, illness, addictions. You have to do what is in alignment with what you want. Even if you want something simple, like being happy, that is great. But we do so many things that make us not happy.

If you are wanting to be rich, surround yourself with successful people, or fully connect with your inner vision. If you are wanting to be rich, but you are only around angry broke people, you will inherit their philosophy on money, which is really just a justification to keep not having to make it happen. Also notice your own beliefs that would make it hard to make money. If you want to make money, but you believe “Money is the root of all evil.” You will be too scared to make it. Your belief is that you will be a bad person, so your fear will keep you from ever being rich.

If you want to just be happy in general, only be around things and people that make you happy. This sounds obvious, but almost all of us hang around people and do things that we don’t want to be around. After time of being dragged down, our need to people please is more important to us than our vision. THIS IS CHANGEABLE.

With practice, you are capable of making your vision more powerful than your need to please others. If your vision/intention is more important to you than doing things out of habit, everything will change in your life. You will easily become one of the few who are major successful/ fulfilled/ contributing/ happy. But you have to change your focus to your vision. You have to be around what lines up with your intention, not your old story. But, if you have a belief that writing out what you want is corny, or talking about your vision is scary, you won’t do it. You have nothing to move toward.

If you have nothing to move toward, if you have no intention, everything can take over you. Your life really becomes about what you are escaping from. Your will have to be massively stressed, so you get addicted to things to stop it. You go to “happy hour” to escape your pain, versus moving towards your vision and just actually being happy all of the time.

If you keep doing the old things, you stay the old way. When you start leaping, you show yourself a new world of possibilities. Hardly anybody really gets this, and that is good for you. You can stand out in a world of people who are horrified of change/ growth/ intention. Everything you want is truly at your fingertips. Immerse yourself into the minds of people who are where you want to be. Immerse in all of the amazing talks online that teach this. Cut yourself off from the old ways. Watch how fast this adds up.

What blows my mind is how many people read this type of stuff, but don’t do it. They don’t actually show up. It is only when you show up for real that you will truly know what I am talking about. People are scared to leave their old comforts. They might experience a few days of sadness because they are leaving their old story. They then think the sadness they feel is how they will always feel. Change is painful at first and then incredible later. Sticking with something for real and experiencing change is what causes people to truly expand. It is in that expansion that we actually experience why we are here.

If you think you are here to just eat some frosted flakes and figure out ways to stop being bored each day, go for it, but I am telling you, it doesn’t compare to experiencing true expansion, growth, or change.

Make some new decisions. Decide. Cut off the things that are not in alignment. Meet your potential. Be happy. Become a creator. All stress, fears, doubts, addictions, illness will naturally fall away.

There is an amazing intuition doing everything it can to guide you. You can call it instinct, god, universe, it doesn’t matter. It does not matter if you are Cristian, Atheist, New Age, Mormon, or anything else.
When you are going to hang with someone and you hope that they cancel, that is your intuition telling you not to go. When you ask someone what you should do in a situation and you hope they tell you a certain answer, that is your intuition already telling you the answer.
We have been trained to overlook this voice and listen to authority. This causes us to have now clue who we are.
We then ask our friends stuff at restaurants like, “Do I want waffles, or pancakes?” No matter what your friends tell you your stomach wants, you know more.
Your intuition is the only thing that will answer everything you need to do or be in every given second. We have been trained to read stuff like this and associate it as corny. It’s the only thing that matters. It is real. Corny is ignoring your own compass and letting others who don’t listen to their compass tell you how to live. It is truly insane and until you face it, you will be living in fear and not knowing it.
Be silent, listen to your self. Notice the voice of guidance and the voice of fear. This isn’t religion, it’s the truth. With THIS truth, everything you could ever want will happen, but you wont care, cause you are connected to your intuition and already whole.

The only freedom we want, is actually from the inner resistance inside of our head. Very few have the courage to admit that though. It’s just easier to blame everything outside of you from keeping you free. If you are moving forward slowly, stopping yourself from doing incredible things right now, believing every lie in your brain, stressing while you are sitting in a chair, you are not free. You are not free in your head.

Because of this, everything that you blame for keeping you free has to close in on you. You have created this as the situation. If you are in fear and resistance, you might become a people pleaser. If you are a people pleaser, guess what? You can ONLY attract TAKERS. If you are in your head about things, you will not be able to lead yourself, so you attract a job you hate. Then YOU say your boss is walking all over you. THIS IS ONLY BECAUSE you live in resistance in your head. Your boss has to match your fear. You put out that you are someone who is in fear and literally draw in the only thing that has polarity to that. When you free your mind, you become truly free. It doesn’t matter where you are physically.

We are a society that is barely using any of our own potential. We are scared of our own thoughts, and that stops us from doing stuff. We also move as if other peoples opinions matter more than our own. We scream out that we believe that others have authority over us, so guess what? We create a government that will take away our rights.

A couple times in my life, I have experienced being TRULY free. I did a lot of inner work and discovered that my resistance was only to my thoughts. In those moment, I had no beef with anything. I had no problem with religion, the government, schools, monsanto, ex girlfriends, family, other countries, bosses, my past or my future.

I was free, and once I truly discovered that, everything around me acted like it. If you feel something is tied up, this is because YOU are not willing to take the reigns and free yourself of your old shit. When you do this, the things around you will match it. This is how you literally could change the world by being the change you want to see. When we blame anything else, we stay at war, in our own heads.
